Please note that the organised transfer on 4th July has been cancelled due to the lack of interest. Instead of this we recommend the Workshop attendees to use a local service.
The workshop starts at 9:00 on Saturday (5th July). This first day of this 1.5 day workshop will be a forum on the astronomy, astrophysics, and nuclear physics of classical novae. The final half day will be devoted to evaluating the thermonuclear 30P (p, gamma) 31S reaction rate. The workshop ends at 12:00 on Sunday (6th July). A group lunch and a group dinner will be arranged at local restaurants on 5th July.
Please email Chris Wrede (wrede@nscl.msu.edu) if are planning attending the workshop, but did not submit an abstract
A special issue of The European Physical Journal Plus will be devoted to the evaluation of the 30P(p, gamma)31S reaction rate.
